Our Past
Before Loud & Clear, there was Handcrafted Car Audio.
My name is Jon Kowanetz and for more than 15 years, I built Handcrafted into a high-end custom audio shop focused on one simple idea: personalized audio for the driver. Every system was designed around the individual customer and vehicle, with an emphasis on clean installation, thoughtful fabrication, seamless integration and exceptional sound.
Those years taught me far more than how to build great audio systems. They taught me what customers expect when they invest in something they care about—and how much the details matter.
When I eventually sold Handcrafted, I never left that philosophy behind. In fact, it became the foundation for Loud & Clear.
Today, I'm bringing that same experience, attention to detail and commitment to doing things right to motorcycle audio—just with a more focused mission.
Loud & Clear isn't an attempt to recreate Handcrafted. It's the next chapter.
Our Present
Loud & Clear is the next chapter.
Today, I'm focused exclusively on motorcycle audio—and on doing it differently.
I built Loud & Clear for riders who see their motorcycle as more than a way to get from one place to another. It's where they escape, explore, spend time with friends, take the long way home and make memories. For those riders, great music isn't an accessory.
It's part of the experience.
That's why we don't believe in one-size-fits-all audio packages. A rider who spends Saturday mornings cruising around town has very different needs than someone who spends weekends crossing state lines. A rider who wants clean, balanced music has different priorities than someone who wants to feel every beat.
But they all want it, both Loud & Clear.
Our Future
We're just getting started.
As we grow, we'll continue expanding the motorcycles we support, the systems we offer and the ways we help riders find the right solution for their needs.
But one thing won't change: we'll always start with the rider.
We want every system that leaves Loud & Clear to feel intentional—not like a collection of parts that happened to fit on a motorcycle, but a system that was chosen specifically for the person riding it.
